The German health insurance system is both robust, yet also unique, with a myriad of rules that may or may not come into play for expats/foreign incoming workers. Regardless if you are considering private or publich health insurance, Mirja and the team at KLforExpats is extremely competent in guiding through the process including any hiccups. It was very helpful for my situtation; I highly recommend.

Mirja helped me select the right plan to fit my health needs. At first this was via the public insurance system in germany. But after one year I switched to private insurance and Mirja helped me make a personalised plan to fit my needs. Whenever I had problems with claims or other insurance related issues the customer support was there to help me. I can highly recommend KL!

My experience with KLforExpats has been excellent and continues to be so. I can't recall ever having to pay any additional fees for medical examinations, and even when I underwent surgery, it was completely covered by the insurance.

My health insurance journey in Germany as an expat has been nothing but great thanks to Mirja and her team. Mirja and her team go above and beyond to help you evaluate your insurance options and understand the German insurance landscape. She has helped my husband and I choose what insurance would be best for us based on our lifestyle: factors such as how long we plan to stay in Germany and if we foresee having any children greatly influence this insurance decision and Mirja helped us make an informed decision to save us money and provide the best care. Beyond selecting the policy, her team communicates continual guidance, such as sharing important changes to the insurance eligibility requirements. Mirja and her team even help in understanding German healthcare paperwork, and scheduling troublesome appointments. KLforExpats have greatly eased our troubles in settling into Germany, and she and her team are a great resource for expats.
