Dear reader,
As an aspiring professional pilot, I have recently completed the "Build Proficiency" course on Loud and Clear and would like to share my experience with you.
This tailor-made course provides comprehensive and flexible English training for me as a pilot, which is not only effective but also highly personalized.
The structure of the course is very well thought out. The whole process starts with a short, personal meeting - the "Departure Briefing". This is where my needs are discussed and the trainer, Joerg Pavitsich, addresses my individual requirements.
The five training units, from "Take-off" to "Final", are strategically structured to improve various aspects of language competence and the subject areas of the later exam. The focus on specific vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, syntax, usage orientation, interaction and fluency helps to develop or refine a comprehensive language ability.
I liked the idea of the "Language Traffic Pattern", which serves as a common thread throughout the course. This principle, which is based on the course rounds in aviation, creates a clear structure and ensures that each learning unit builds on the next in a meaningful way.
The ability to plan individual self-study time with the book "Check your Aviation English" between sessions allowed me to delve deeper into what I had learned. The focus on spoken technical English significantly strengthened my oral expression skills.
The "landing"phase, which ends with the ICAO mock exam, was the highlight of the course. Joerg Pavitsich proved to be an excellent coach in my opinion, who not only conveyed the training content with confidence, but also accurately assessed my skills and motivated me. Thanks to his support, I was able to pass the exam successfully.
To summarize, I can recommend "Build Proficiency" at Loud and Clear without reservation. The combination of customized training, structured methodology and a professionally qualified coach makes this course an outstanding choice for anyone who wants to take their English skills to the next level. Many thanks to Joerg Pavitsich for this great learning experience!
