My Louis Philippe vertico had been badly treated for decades, and it looked like it. I was finally faced with the question: dispose of it or have it restored. Fortunately, after some searching, I found the Zentrale Restaurierungswerkstatt Berlin.
The very first contact with Philipp Westebbe was very pleasant and trusting, and I was immediately impressed by the concept. There was more to do than I had originally planned, but I was able to think about everything at my leisure. The whole work process was very well organized and I was able to follow the progress of the restoration and look forward to it with the photos I kept receiving.
Now my Vertiko is back at home and shines at me in all its beauty. It looks classy without hiding its former wounds. And it's even standing on its own two feet again, which it hasn't had for at least 60 years. I didn't know it any other way and only now do I realize what a gain having your own feet means, even for a Vertiko!
Many thanks once again to Philipp Westebbe and his team! We have more furniture that will be refurbished in the ZRW at some point. That can only go well! We are looking forward to it.
