My son and I were travelling to Norway for the first time and were trying to come up with a logical itinerary. We became a little concerned that we were trying to cram too much into the schedule. At this point we decided to contact Linda for a one-hour consultation. Linda listened to what we said and asked questions to clarify what we wanted. It became obvious that we had tried to cram too much in. Linda then sent us three itineraries with links to the various places to consider which included things we hadn't even known about. Even though we were only expecting the one-hour consultation, Linda continued to work with us until the trip was set. Our Norway adventure was AMAZING!!!!!!! Linda even e-mailed us after our return asking about the trip. I would definitely use this service again.

Let me start by saying this was by far one of the most amazing trips I’ve had. KimKim is an excellent place for customizable tours and for those looking to travel independently with just hotels and transportation pre-booked. I was in Norway for 8 days in April and Ingrid helped me plan and organize my stay, and accommodated several itinerary changes from my side 😊. She gave me multiple suggestions for hiking and sightseeing (including maps and distances) in the cities I visited. The whole booking process was extremely easy, and Ingrid was reachable at all times and very responsive.
Norway is an incredible destination, and I was extremely fortunate the weather was perfect throughout my stay. The fjords, mountains and just the landscapes in general are absolutely breathtaking! There was also far fewer tourists around this time of year! I visited Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Tromso, and every city was unique and picturesque in its own way with a lot to offer. The Pulpit rock hike was definitely the highlight of my trip - relatively easy to do and very rewarding. Ingrid also arranged local tour guides for me in Oslo (Stig) and Bergen (John) who were both extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
Needless to say, I had a great time in Norway and definitely recommend KimKim for travel planning. Many many thank you to Ingrid, Stig, John and Andre who made my stay very memorable!

Now... I was in contact with Ingrid and I can honestly say that she proved to be extremely helpful and nice. She planned the trip for me and my daughters to Trolltunga, with every single detail I had asked for. I kept changing my plans... Ingrid kept adjusting, answering all of my questions, texting me back in matter of hours, sending me all the links and addresses I had asked for. Now, I know that Norway has a great reputation for being friendly and safe and welcoming... But this was just superb. Coming from a tourismn-oriented country, I can obly hope that our guides/agents are half as kind as Ingrid is. All the best to her and Ethic Travel Portal...

My adult daughter and I just returned from a week long vacation in Norway. We had specific wishes and felt that Ethical Travel Portal not only met, but exceeded our expectations. Linda, who worked with us, was very helpful in providing guidance while also being sensitive to our particular interests, devising a travel plan that was tailored to our desire to cruise the fjords and learn more about Vikings.
All of our arrangements were preplanned and pre-paid, making travel by bus, train and boat very easy and enjoyable with little fuss and hassle, giving us more time to enjoy our activities. Our hotels were well appointed and centrally located so that we had great accessibility walking to places of interest near where we were staying. We also benefited from our local guide, Ingrid, who led a private tour that focused on how locals live in Bergen, Norway, rather than simply doing well trodden tourist sites. We appreciated her unique perspective and the opportunity to ask a myriad of questions about life in Norway, in general, and Bergen, specifically. Based on our experience, we would recommend Ethical Travel Portal without reservation. They are a competent tour agency, but distinguish themselves as well by their passion, integrity and genuine interest in their customer's travel experiences.
