There's no cure for herpes, and you can't really tell if you're infected. Herpes isn't contagious, and the only way to prevent it is to be aware of your symptoms. Those with the disease should wear a pair of underwear that is free of chemicals. You can also wear non-synthetic underwear. Moisture sores may take a longer time to heal.
