It is very confusing when searching for the course that you can first book a course via Holger Strunk and then somehow come across Sono 2learn. It wasn't clear that you could book the course without being there. Then the prescribed locations are not correct either. If I book a course in Bonn, I don't want to travel to Cologne.

These are two separate websites in terms of name, content and company.
By way of explanation:
At www. sono2learn.de you can book the renowned sonography online course offer. The company is based in Cologne. Of course, the courses do not take place live in Cologne, but online at the customer's premises: when, where and as often as the customer wants.
Pure online courses cannot be DEGUM certified, as they lack the "practical part on site". The SONO2learn online courses are therefore not aimed at acquiring the professional qualification from the KV. (Rather, their modular structure up to DEGUM level III optimizes sonographic competence and safety in everyday practice at every customer level. In addition, the multi-year online courses are CME-certified for up to 117 CME points in the popular SONO2learn complete package.

The popular DEGUM-certified face-to-face courses in Bonn and other locations have been available at www.holgerstrunk.de for decades. Customers there are increasingly focusing on acquiring the professional qualification from the KV.
Prof. Dr. H. Strunk is a member of both associations.
For this reason, there are additional booking options for his online courses on www.sono2learn.de, including links to them, on his face-to-face course page www.holgerstrunk.de. The aim is to deepen and consolidate the knowledge acquired over a relatively short period of time on a face-to-face course weekend over several years.

A very good concept!

You can refresh your knowledge, remember things you've forgotten and learn new aspects virtually in your home office. The subject matter is conveyed well. Unknown areas are also conveyed well and encourage you to expand your "sound" portfolio.

Perhaps a minor point for some, but also an important one for me: the pleasant voice and the good quality of the soundtrack.

For some courses you get the slides, for others a summary.

A small point of criticism is allowed: Some lectures are a bit "colorful" with background images and animations. The usual "typical" slides (from the other courses), as you are used to from lectures, reinforce this impression (e.g.: brain supplying vessels). The content is the usual good and is conveyed in an understandable way.

Overall, however, the concept can certainly be recommended.

I can only recommend the course! I have taken part in several sonography courses (face-to-face) and found it cool that with Sono2learn you can divide up the topics yourself. You learn when you have time and are receptive. One day you work on a specific topic and the next day you can "practise" it directly with patients at work. And if you forget something, you can watch the video again 😬. Top!

After a lengthy search, I decided to purchase the complete Sono2Learn package a year ago in order to systematically refresh the ultrasound experience I had acquired over several decades in numerous courses and in the clinic and to deepen it in everyday life. The very good didactic structure of the course with numerous videos on all relevant topics, including anatomical and radiological illustrations of even rare pathological findings, is helpful in continuously improving the practical understanding of this everyday diagnostic method for both beginners and experienced examiners. I can therefore unreservedly recommend SONO2learn as an online course! As I have not yet completed the practical part, I cannot comment on this.

Sono2learn is a simple method with which doctors can learn sonography comprehensively. In the videos, which are organized by organ, sonography is taught both in practice and in theory. Online learning can be easily integrated into everyday practice and you remain flexible.

I was looking for a long time for a professional sonography course that teaches sonography from the ground up. Especially when you are alone in the practice, a structured and well-founded approach to diagnosis is essential and, in my opinion, cannot be achieved through "quick week/weekend courses".
The Sono2learn concept convinced me right from the start - highly professionally prepared, with practical videos and scripts that convey even the most difficult issues with a lot of passion and experience. In addition, you also learn CT and MRI diagnostics, as parallel examples are always given. The maximum flexibility and the many possibilities for further development through the modular system with the possibility of acquiring a great complete package at a more than fair price make the whole thing perfect for me.

A great concept for learning sonography - the course not only provides in-depth knowledge in advance with excellently prepared videos with numerous examples of sonographic findings, but also gives the opportunity to apply this knowledge in the practical part.
After the course, sonography in practice has a different quality - being able to examine better with more confidence.

As an internist with more than 30 years of experience in ultrasound, both in a leading clinical position and in outpatient care, I have come to appreciate this offer for further training. The didactic structure with illustrations from anatomy and comparative sectional images from computed tomography is unique and offers perfect access to deepen the understanding of even the experienced examiner. The fundus of rare pathologic findings is exceptional. Since ultrasonography has such an outstanding importance in daily patient care, I can only recommend SONO2learn to all colleagues! I expressly congratulate the authors on this achievement.

The lectures were very good and so was the concept with the practice day, but the practice day was pulled through very quickly and ended at 4 p.m. although a period until 6 p.m. was specified. I find this somewhat unsatisfactory for the money one pays, as one could have practiced well during this time or taken more time.

I just thought it was a shame that we paid 900€ and it wasn't even enough for water and coffee at the course. We were 8 hours with you and she could not even put the participants water. That was a pity and many participants saw it that way.

The online course is methodically well structured using individual videos, and the content is easy to remember thanks to constant repetition. The quizzes are easy to solve and motivate as a success check.

The practical day was also very good. By dividing into small groups (with us 6 participants + 1 tutor) everyone had enough time to sound themselves, our tutor was super nice and was able to convey her knowledge to us well. In addition, she had many tips and tricks that she showed us. Thus, the day was overall very successful and entertaining despite the amount of content.

I would recommend this course at any time!
