Asked why he picked to enter into plastic surgery, with its particularly long training, Dr. Lawrence Rosenberg responds," Plastic surgery is a wonderful subspecialty. It is one of the few staying locations in medicine where you can treat the whole human body. Plastic surgeons are trained in cosmetic surgery, reconstruction after trauma, healing wounds from chronic medical troubles, hand surgery, correction of congenital deformities, and far more. In a specific sense, we are one of the few general physicians left in medicine."
