This was our first trip to Nepal and the staff at SocialTours made us feel at home immediately. We were treated to see and experience first hand the many sides of Nepal, their religious beliefs, excellent cuisine, and of course trekking in the Himalayan mountains. I highly recommend SocialTours.

We had a trip to Langtang arranged by Social Tours at the end of March 2021. From the very beginning, Raj was really responsive, informative and the trip was very well planned and well organised. The itinerary was adjusted to our group's needs, great accomodations, and above all, Social Tours has made our group trip (3 families with 6 young children) to explore the beauty of Langtang Valley easier, so fun, and memorable. We were well taken care of during the whole trip thanks to Rabin, our responsible guide as well as our helpful and friendly porters. Recommended by a friend, I would definitely recommend Social Tours to anyone willing to do family trekking.

We discovered different places in Nepal thanks to Social tours. Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara, Bhaktapur, all was great and well organized. The guides and the drivers were very competents. We saw many wonderful places and we could understand better the richness of the nepalese culture.

Just came back from my trip in Nepal fully organised by Social Tours and almost the first thing I do is searching how to review because I want to help others to have an experience as great as mine… This was my first time in Nepal with a friend, didn’t know anything or anyone, we weren’t here to trek but we wanted to have an experience of life in Nepal, take time to immerge in the culture. Coming home now, I have the feeling that this is exactly what happened and that we truly met Nepal in only two weeks, not only through touristic places which are surely part of it, but also and mainly through so many local people we had the chance to meet during our different tours, and exchange about their lives and activities. Every guide we had was great, different, happy to share tons of details and answer every single question I had (a lot !), and very kind and thoughtful. It was precious and a huge part of the experience we had, and our tours turned out to be as rich as friendly. Social Tours has been very attentive from the beginning to the end, suggested many things and adapted to our wishes and budget. We chose some options that were not always the cheapest, but still affordable for us and very worth compared to the quality of them, and they were present to help us decide without pushing for an option or another. I felt right away as we started the brief that their only concern was to fulfill all of our expectations, and I felt perfectly safe and guided, brought to the best places possible, and free of mind so that the only thing I had to concentrate on was to enjoy every moment of it...

I did two different treks with these guys, both excellent, plus the "Cook like a local" which was a lot of fun as well! Love the different things they have on offer, and the values they promote.

Socialtours is probably the best choice if you want a direct connection to the heart of Nepal. Explore Kathmandu cook with locals, have a discussion with a monk or go trekking into the mountains. The team of socialtours have their own special philosophy in combining tourism with local people and nature wich is a great experience. And next to this they support a really amazing school project in Germany and Nepal.
