I would just like to tell you how enthusiastic I am about the Cosmedica clinic and the whole staff and procedure. I am really glad I made the decision and dared to have a procedure.
I suffered from hair loss and have long considered whether or not to undergo a transplant. At the beginning, I had some concerns when researching the topic of procedures abroad, because it is outside of Germany. But when I came across the Cosmedica Clinic, all my fears and worries were taken away, because the clinic has a German-speaking staff and took an extremely long time for me in advance during the consultation and analysis, and all my many questions were answered precisely, which radiated an enormously high level of competence. The contact with my consultant was and continues to be super (even long after my procedure). It is a complete package where you don't have to worry about anything on your own. The pick-up at the airport and the transfer were great, the hotel was good and the modern clinic is really something. But especially the German staff on site in Turkey takes care of you really well, so you feel really comfortable and never alone. During the consultation, Doctor Acar also took plenty of time and we modeled my new hairline together. The surgery went well and even after the surgery I had good contact with my contact person who accompanied me until the final result.
I can only recommend it to everyone, which is why I also gave a rating, although I actually never do this. Really top performance and mega good result :-)

You simply notice that the surgical teams are well-rehearsed. The preliminary discussion with Dr. Acar was great, he answered my questions and took his time. I also liked the fact that I didn't need a translator and the consultation was in German. All in all, I can only recommend Cosmedica!

The service was very good. I had thought at the beginning that the language barrier could bring me minor problems. But to my surprise, this was 0% the case. The doctor speaks very good German and is very friendly.

I have to admit that I was initially quite skeptical about having a hair transplant in Turkey.

Now, looking back, I'm really glad I did it. Everything was super organized, from the pick-up from the airport, drive to the hotel, on-site support to the clinic and the operation itself.

Everything was super professional, the hotel was great and the clinic is more modern than any German hospital I've ever been to.

The operation was... well... Just surgery. I never had the feeling that anything was wrong, everything went really well. I had a pleasant consultation with Mr. Acar beforehand.

I am from Austria and last month I had my hairtransplant at Cosmedica clinic in Istanbul. The team was excellent and the took very care of me. The operation is pain free ( Only the anesthesia hurt a little). Everything they did was well prepared and very organized. Most professional staff working hard with Dr.Acer.

I had a hair transplant of just over 5000 grafts over 2 days (DHI Sapphire). 500 grafts under the chin of it.
The surgery itself was pretty relaxed except for the anesthesia. I don't even want to imagine how the syringe anesthesia must feel without a needleless pre-anesthesia. Because even the needle-free anesthesia is already unpleasant, but for me clear K.O. criterion, because otherwise you suffer extremely. Through the pre-anesthesia should be up to 70% less pain with the injection. And I believe that, because even with the pre-anesthesia it was still more than unpleasant when the injections came. But fortunately it is only treated at the beginning of the day with a few stitches within 5 minutes. After that you fall asleep and are awakened by your own snoring, because you feel nothing else and just let it do.

The advance consultation was all good, planning too. In Istanbul at the airport, the pickup did not work right away because the driver did not come. After 30 min. I then reached someone by phone and was then ultimately driven by another driver after ner hour waiting time. That was the only thing on the trip that didn't work out. The rest of the transportation was good as well as the care in the clinic.
The hotel/room was also all top. If you sit at breakfast with a bandage, you are incidentally not stared at, because half of the guests share the same fate.

I am now writing the report about 8 weeks later. The healing progressed well. At the back of the head, despite regrowth, there is one or the other spot less - I am curious to see how it grows more densely again in the following months, so that no small holes remain.
As expected, the grafts fall out very easily in the following weeks. I am happy when the growth of the grafts starts later.
All in all, everything was professional and the 2/3 team that was on day 1 also continued the following day. For the opening of the canals (probably the most demanding part) someone comes from room to room and perforates the areas where the nurses then insert the previously removed grafts themselves afterwards.
Once you have managed the first few days of sleeping with a neck pillow, everything is relatively normal again if you take care of yourself.
Overall, everything was very satisfactory and I would go again.

The treatment and hair analysis of Dr. Acar was so professional that I can not imagine it better, unfortunately I had to split the surgery into 2 days so I could see less of Turkey, but that was worth it all the time, especially that I have felt almost nothing from the surgery and have slept like a bear 🤣

after I had my front hair (2600 grafts) treated at Cosmedica just under a week ago, I would like to report briefly on my experience. After too-before all contact to Dusseldorf ran off via WhatsApp, I made myself at the beginning of December 2022 on the way to Istanbul. And what can I say? Everything worked flawlessly. The shuttle service from the airport to the centrally located Hotel Elysium was no problem. Immediately, nice day trips could be made together with other patients during my time in Istanbul. The German speaking staff as well as Dr, Acar, who also speaks German, gave me an all around good feeling.
So a really successful stay in Istanbul. Now I care for my hair with the included products and am excited about the final result!

Was there this year and am very satisfied. The examination is done with the head doctor. Very good that he knows the German language. So good advice. The practice appears very new and clean. The service is also very good. Could enjoy my effort. Only couple of minutes away from restaurants or similar. I am curious about the result.

I am writing the review one week after my HT. I can recommend the clinic with my experience so far. Of course, I still have to wait for the final result after 12 months for the final conclusion. Therefore, I am only evaluating the process, the communication and the performance of the HT. Overall, I have the impression that I made a good choice and would have another HT performed at the clinic. All the staff were always eager to answer all my questions and make my stay as pleasant as possible. Dr. Acar took his time and adjusted my hairline partly according to my ideas, which in his opinion was possible.
Partly negative I noticed the communication, for me relevant issues on site. From the previously not announced rebooking in another hotel, as well as longer response times to my questions. I would recommend everyone to ask actively if anything should be unclear to not experience unwanted surprises.

After years of searching and researching a suitable clinic for my hair transplant, I chose Cosmedica Clinic in Istanbul under the direction of Dr.Acar. I am glad to have done it here. It is very easy to contact via WhatsApp and send pictures of the hair status. You can always reach your contact person no matter when. The hair status is analyzed very quickly and you learn the expected number of grafts that are needed. The price of the hair transplantation is also given. Then you only need to make an appointment and it can start. I flew with a companion and a child. We were brought in a big van from the airport to the hotel. And also taken to the clinic and back to the hotel in such vans. We were taken to a different hotel than was previously booked because the actual hotel was doing some renovations and therefore had less rooms available. We were driven to another 5 star hotel. It was very nice in the main building. We then got into an annex where apparently the normal double rooms were. We were not satisfied with the room at all. Broken window panes which was completely covered with foil. So darker in the room and no visibility. What I could see was garbage in the yard and a construction site. The laminate was broken, holes in the bedding and my towel had an old large blood stain. I described this to my contact person. It was immediately taken care of and apologized several times. 1 night we unfortunately had to spend there but the next day we could be accommodated in the actual hotel in a quiet location. Very nice and child friendly staff in the hotel. In general the people there are very friendly and open, especially towards children. In the bright modern clinic you are always welcomed in a friendly way. There are nice employees who speak different languages. And of course also German. You are accompanied to all examinations. Everyone has a conversation with the head physician, Dr. Acar. He looks at the donor area to see if it is sufficient for a later hair transplant if the hair loss continues. The hairline is discussed and any pre-existing conditions and medications. For the physical well-being is also provided. There is always something to drink like coffee, water, juice, cola etc and snacks available free of charge. A proper meal is also provided. In the operating room you can communicate well with English. If there should be a communication problem, an interpreter can be called at any time. If you have to leave in between times, that is no problem either. They really take good care of you. They also take a lot of time during the follow-up examination and supply of care products, and you can clarify any last questions. For the aftercare at home, you also have a contact person where you can describe your concerns at any time. I can highly recommend the Cosmedica clinic.

I had 5300 grafts transplanted. The results are now very good 4 weeks after the operation. The donor area looks completely normal and the hairline is very natural. These were actually the two things I was most worried about.

Pick up, hotel and transfers worked very well. The clinic is professional and clean and there is always a German translator. The operation is carried out very carefully and took me 16 hours over 2 days. That is a long time but also a sign of care. My donor area looked very good again after 4 days. After 10 days the scabs were gone and it looked like I had a short hairstyle. Then you can really go out in public again.
The consultation with Dr. Acar was also very good. He always has the future with progressive hair loss in mind and deals with individual problems. Hairline is drawn together, in my case also on the basis of old photos.
Medication, care products and supplements such as vitamins were professionally explained, described and handed out. (Enough for 2 months.)

All in all, I can really recommend this clinic. There's nothing to be afraid of and such an operation is definitely not affordable in Germany in the quality it is performed.

There were also some patients there who had already been to various other clinics, both in Turkey and in Germany, and without exception they all said that the Cosmedica Clinic was by far the best hair transplant they had ever had.

The contact was mostly and very flexible via WhatsApp which I found very pleasant. A few weeks later I was ready to go. Once I arrived in Turkey, I was picked up by the transfer and drove to the hotel. The pickup at the airport was without complications and very fast.
Once I arrived at the hotel, I was warmly welcomed and received.
The next day I went to the clinic, where the transfer is also taken care of. There is hardly any waiting time and everything seems very professional.
In the modern clinic I was then received by a German-speaking employee. There was also a conversation with Dr. Acar, who of course also speaks German.

If I knew the final result now, the rating would have been even better. The professionalism of the team and of Dr. Acar is particularly noteworthy. The experience conveyed quickly creates an atmosphere of trust. There is no unnecessary ballyhoo. Before you know it, everything is over and the hair is growing.

I am completely satisfied and delighted with the whole process, the clinic and the operation. The 5-star hotel was also very good with a delicious breakfast. The good service began in Germany with a detailed telephone consultation. The nice lady (Alina) was always quick to answer questions, gave very good tips on booking flights and explained the procedure.
At the airport, a transfer was immediately provided at the service desk to take me to the hotel. In the morning, I was then picked up punctually at the hotel by the clinic's VIP shuttle bus along with a few others. Everyone at the clinic was super friendly. We were given a warm welcome and some preliminary examinations etc. were carried out straight away. Incidentally, the clinic has state-of-the-art equipment. Then we went for a consultation with Dr. Acar. Here I was given detailed advice and he drew the hairline. It was immediately obvious how competent he was in his field and that he knew what he was doing. He has a very pleasant and friendly manner. Then the operation started. I was kept up to date with all the steps and everyone did a great job. Even after the operation, i.e. an appointment for a follow-up examination and an appointment for the first hair wash, everything was perfectly organized. I would like to emphasize once again the friendliness of all the staff and the great organization of everything. I felt I was in good hands and enjoyed being there. The whole process from the offer to the accommodation in Turkey was very good and structured. I always had a German speaking Asp on site and the results now after 4 months are perfect.
