The move took place in one step. It wasn't until I was already in Switzerland that I became anxious. German was a complete stranger, I did not understand anything. However, it took me a while to become fully aware of it. The first two or three... weeks you do not fully realize that you have moved into a completely different country, with different rules, regulations, and morals.

Adaptation
The first thing I did was join the local basketball club. It was there that I connected with the local teenagers for the first time (my knowledge of English helped). After three weeks a new life finally began - I went to a Swiss school for immigrants. The institution is the first stage of integration for foreign teenagers in Switzerland. All subjects here were in German, so that the children were fully immersed in the linguistic environment.
