Extraordinarily satisfying her original career ambition to be a journalist, Dr. Nerurkar has been featured in The Wall Road Journal, The Washington Post, Oprah Magazine, Architectural Overview and Elle - in addition to being a columnist for Forbes and composing for The Atlantic. She has made in excess of 300 appearances as a medical commentator on MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS News; and has spoken at the "Forbes 30 Under 30 Culmination" and Harvard Business School Ladies' Conference.
Dr. Nerurkar's mastery on pressure comes from working with thousands of patients throughout her years as a primary care physician and director of an integrative medication program at Harvard's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is presently a teacher at Harvard Medical School in the Division of Global Health and Social Medication and fills in as the Co-Director of the Clinical Clerkship in Community Engagement. She has also worked in global general health at a World Health Organization collaboration center in Geneva, Switzerland.
