Torsten Depping was very helpful in helping me understand what was done incorrectly and explained why it should be done a certain way. I really like taking his course.
Feedback form is only partially suitable for a training course.
The training was professionally and interestingly structured with a very good trainer. Concepts were first explained clearly and comprehensibly, then deepened through practical exercises (in my opinion essential for software user training).
Explains very well and understandably! Very good way for the trainer to transfer his knowledge. What I personally liked was that he always gave you an impulse to come up with the solution yourself and didn't directly tell you how to implement it. That's how I actually learned! He responded very individually to the questions and needs although a tight program was carried out. Very good overall!
Julius was an excellent leader for our Tableau Basics training. He was well prepared, efficiently presented the material, and was open and responsive to the group questions. At first it seemed that 5 days of training was excessive, but Tableau has so many use cases and customization features, that I completely understand now! The last day felt a little rushed as we were running out of time, but I am very much looking forward to taking the Advanced course soon to continue my knowledge journey.
Thanks for providing the feedback opportunity. I completed a Tableau training today. However, this survey is very general and not specific to my training experience. The Services and Consulting category does not apply. Overall the training and Julien Ziemann was very good. He is very knowledgable. My only feedback is that Julien is pretty fast in how he goes over the material. There was a lot to cover in 5 days so I understand he had to pack many subjects in. The part that was helpful (for the most part) was when Julien showed us how to complete the exercise after we tried. On day 5, exercise 4.1 and 4.2 (Dashboard container) was very difficult and those in my breakout group still didn't understand how to properly complete task and even after Julien showed us at the end, it was still hard to follow. A step by step instruction guide would have helped after the course. Otherwise, overall, the training course and Julien were very good.
Ms. Wiechern did a wonderful job presenting the materials and coaching during excercises. She also followed up with the group on specific questions and scenarios that come up during the week with reliable answers. I would highly recommend this training to anyone needing to learn the beginings of Tableau and all of it's powerful capabilities. Thank You! p.s. She also speaks English very well.
A well-structured and didactically cleverly designed training course: competent, service-oriented and always in line with the current state of knowledge and the application problems of the participants! Thank you for this knowledge boost!
I liked that the host moved at a perfect pace for the knowledge level of the group and the dynamic of how he took questions and changed the agenda around to fit with any questions we had. It is clear to me that the host knows Tableau well, is confident in his ability to present his knowledge, and that he has done this kind of thing a lot. He was always prepared and know where to move the course at any point. All five sessions this week, though long, flew by in an instant. Top remarks for the whole course from me, mainly thanks to the host at The Information Lab.
Torsten was very helpful, explained everything very well, put a lot of effort to give as much information as possible. Very informative and helpful trainings. Thank you! Keep up your good work.
