Reem and Mustafa were exceptional. Our tour guide Mr. Weso was not only knowledgeable but he was also a great photographer. We were lucky to have many family photos because of him. We felt safe and worry-free with Trips in Egypt. Highly recommend!!

Thinking of visiting Egypt? Do it! Looking for a great travel company? Choose Trips in Egypt. They looked after us from the moment we arrived in Cairo to the departure gates when we left. We were part of a group for some of it but were able to customise our itinerary for our time in Cairo. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and happy to answer our (many) questions. We felt well looked after for our entire trip. If you have particular interests I recommend researching prior to ensure your itinerary covers them. There’s a lot more on offer than the ‘standard’ tour. Don’t be afraid to ask for additional days or tours.

Every year we go to Egypt. It is easy, safe, mysterious, and most of all incredibly rich in history, archaeology, and culture. Every year we see different things. Everything is arranged for us by Mohamed, our wonderful planner. We just arrived, and once more, this trip surpass our expectations, thanks to our two guides that accompanied us all the way: Khaled Mohasab in Southern Egypt and Hend in the North. 16 days with two awesome guides, and lets not forget our wonderful, patient, professional, and careful drivers: Souod and Mustafa. We are so lucky to have found this company. This time we didn't go to Lake Nasser and the usual itinerary. There is more to Egypt than what the commercial tours take you to. We did go, as every year, to the incredible temples of Abydos and Dendera. Every time we see something different, new excavations, new paths. We had an incredible adventure in Fayoud; Wadi Hitan, "The Whales Valley." In the Tuna el-Gebel Necropolis, we went inside underground streets; 5 miles have been cleared, and still cleaning more. In Amarma, we climbed to the top of the mountain to visit the tombs carved inside the mountain. We visited the new museum, still not opened to the public, but thanks to Mohamed and our great guide Hend we were able to visit. Everyone knows Hend (that opens many doors and pyramids!) The difference between a tour and an incredible trip is thanks to our planner Mohamed, he is flexible. I changed several things at the last moment. And to our wonderful, knowledgeable, professional guides that came with us. Cairo's traffic is awful, but don't get disappointed. Take it as an experience. The rest is awesome! We found out, through experience, that the best way to travel is with a great custom-made planner like Mohamed Abd El Tawab of Trips in Egypt. He chooses our trips with our likes in mind. Yes, I am very picky; I don't eat in Tourist Restaurants, I don't waste time in Tourist Traps, I like to stay the last day at the Meridien, Cairo Airport (this way we don't fight traffic), and I'm a vegetarian, and also allergic to smoke and perfume. Can't wait to see Hend and Khaled again, and plan another trip with Mohamed (he is flexible, knowledgeable, professional, and patient!

The price of the tours are very reasonable in comparison to American tour companies. Everything was organized and felt comfortable and safe at all times. The guids were all great and very knowledgeable. I will be using them in my future trips on their other destinations!

Along with my Husband, Lakshmeesha, and the little one, Baby Akshara, we explored the amazing and wonderful trip to Egypt through Trips in Egypt. Tour consultant Omar Hatem and Mai Mohammad helped us to design the tour. They designed it with the greatest attention since we have asked for many amendments due to infant travel during the pandemic time. We were greeted in Cairo airport by the tour manager Mustafa, an amazing guy who made the tour hassle-free and enjoyable from beginning till the end. Starting from the Immigration procedure from arrival until we stamped out of the country, Mustafa was with us taking care of everything, including day to day activity. The guide Amr Ahmed took care of Cairo, Giza, Alexandria visits, including museums. He was a great photographer and a guide who could speak Swedish too. Later we moved to Aswan, where we took a luxurious M.S Salacia cruise. The cruise and the staffs were great and maintained the cruise with strict adherence to COVID sanitization protocol. The cabin, views, pool, gym, and food were excellent there with a vintage wooden interior. Another amazing tour guide, Mr. Abdo Isamel, carried out the sightseeing of Aswan, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Luxor. He was an excellent guide I have ever met till now with perfect English. He was able to amend the explanation whenever necessary due to our infant and provided the sights' greatest history. Mr. Safi took care of our transfers in Luxor and helped us at the airport. Mustafa and Safi helped us get the replacement for Alabastor marble pieces, which was broken due to some unavoidable circumstances. The driver Ahmed was great who safely took us everywhere in Egypt in a comfortable and sanitized vehicle every day. The hotels selected by Trips in Egypt ( Le Riad and Sheraton) was great and comfortable. The agency took care of our strict vegetarian diet everywhere, and we enjoyed the Egyptian cuisine every day.

We loved every bit of this trip. Our 9-year-old daughter, Annabel, talks about it all the time and loves showing her friends pictures and how she can read some hieroglyphs! We are huge travelers, and this was hands down the best tour-operated trip we have ever taken. Everyone was so lovely, especially making sure our daughter was having fun and engaged. Reem, Sherouk, Ehab, Abu, Mohammad, Ahmed, Mahmoud, Mostafa, Asharf, and Abd Allah Mohamed – thank you all for being such amazing guides, representatives, and drivers. Each day was so much fun because of all of you. And when our flights were canceled last minute, the company was amazing with reschedulings for us, so we didn’t miss a thing! Before we even arrived, Nouran answered all of my millions of questions and was so helpful! She helped customize a lot of the trips based on our interests. What a wonderful group of tour guides your company has hired!

My trip to Egypt after 37 years was an amazing one thanks to Trips in Egypt and their staff! Egypt is an interesting country to navigate especially if you do not know Arabic. Having a local guide who knows the ins and outs of how things work is tremendously helpful especially if you are traveling with family or if it is female travelers by themselves. I certainly do not recommend renting a car and driving in Cairo :) Bad idea.
Mohamed Fatih our lead from Trips in Egypt and Said who was our driver in Cairo were both outstanding. We felt like well looked after kids the whole way ! Maha was a very good guide; she has a great sense of humor and is fluent in English. The places this crew showed us, the restaurants they took us to and the shopping areas we were taken to were all great. Good choices on their part as we depended on them for guidance and they did not fail.
In Luxor we had Sherif and Mostafa along with Bahauddin. Again great and friendly service. The cars were airconditioned, the guides very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Valley of the Kings and the temple at Karnak. Pictures do not do justice to these magnificent structures. I will definitely advise to carry a portable fan and water sprayer, Luxor heat is intense.
A weeks trip does not do Egypt justice, this is a country full of history and places to see. We did one off road item and that is visiting a local farm. I wanted to see how the locals live and did their farming. Ahmed who was the owner of the farm and his family not only opened their doors to us but their hearts. The home made fresh food and vegetables were amazing. I highly recommend this, its not touristy but well worth the visit.
I cannot recommend this crew enough. Well mannered, knowledgeable and the best part was they enjoyed our visit as much as we did!
